2010 Golf Outing

Please note the DATE and PLACE of the Annual Katie's Krusaders Golf Outing has changed. It will be Monday October 11, 2010 (Columbus Day) at Medford Village.  More infomation to follow.

2010 Trenton Thunder Game

Even though it was HOT and sticky it was another year of fun!  Katie's Krusaders and family and friends watched the Trenton Thunder beat the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.  Everyone had a great time and again we were one of the top 50/50 groups.  Next year we might have the game in May, maybe a little cooler and more people can join us.  Let us know what you think!!

Barroom Olympics for Missy's Wish

This is a fundraising event in memory of Missy Morgan who died of melanoma at the age of 27.

Come join us for a GREAT time.  Barroom Olympics.  Teams of 2 with 6 Events.  Billiards, Horseshoes, Beer Pong and more.  Date: Saturday, May 22nd (rain or shine), Registration - 12:30, Game time - 1:00 - 4:00.  Entry Fee: $35.00 per person.

2nd Annual Game On Event

Everyone had a great time.  There was lots of prizes and great drinks.  We raised aproximately $2000.00.  Thank you all who came all the way to AC for this event.

2010 Bowl-A-Thon 

Another great year and great time.  Over $22,000 was raised and well over 200 bowlers participated!  Thank you all so much.

Everyone had a great time and Katie's Krusaders raised over $11,000.00.  As usual Shelly out did herself, with organizing the entire outing.  The food was great and the auction items were fabulous.  Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this a great day.

2009 Trenton Thunder Game

 The weather was perfect, the people were wonderful and the Reading Phillies won.  First time we didn't mind the Trenton Thunder losing. Everyone had a GREAT time and we raised over $2,800.00.  Thank you to everyone who joined us at the game and helped support Katie's Krusaders.

Come join Katie's Krusaders at the Trenton Thunder game on Saturday June 27, 2009.  We changed the date this year hoping more people could join us.  Spend an exciting evening with family and friends as the Trenton Thunder take on the Reading Phillies.  Game time is 7:05pm.  Tickets are $10/each.  Stick around after the game for great fireworks.  For more information or tickets call Terry Duffin @ 215-230-4699 or email her at ptduffin@verizon.net  

Bowl-A-Thon 2009

We had another record year at the Bowl-A-Thon.   We had 233 bowlers come out this year and took up 50 lanes.  We raised close to $24,000.00 to help the families of seriously ill children.  For Shelly and her family it was the 25th year they put on the Bowl A Thon to raise money for sick children.  We celebrated with a cake, balloons, clowns, Boomer and the DJ.  This year Ronald McDonald himself joined in on the fun.  Thank you again to everyone who helps us continue to break records every year.

Game On Event

WOW!!!  What a great time!  Thanks to Dave Schultz picking us as his charity of choice and placing our name on the back of his NHL wine series we have met some great people.  Some of these people ran the event at Game On in Atlantic City.  Katie's Krusaders raised over $4,100.00 at this event.  There was a silent auction, 50/50, and a bull ride.  Everyone seemed to have a great time.  They even had a special drink named Katie's Kooler for the evening.  Thanks to everyone who helped make this event so much fun.  

Beef N Beer 2009

Not only did everyone have a great time but over $4000.00 was raised at the Beef N Beer.  The chinese auction items were amazing.  There was a 50/50 and great door prizes.  Between the DJ and the great prizes there was not a dull moment all night.  A special "Thank You" to the people who work with Paul (Katie's dad) for putting together the Beef N Beer and raising a lot of money to help the kids.

Bowl-A-Thon March 7, 2009

It's that time of year again!  The annual Bowl-A-Thon will be held on Saturday March 7th.  From 11:00am-3:00pm at Laurel Lanes, Route 73, Maple Shade, NJ.

This year is the 25th Year Shelly Valenti and her family and friends have been doing the Bowl-A-Thon.  Come out and help us celebrate this exciting milestone with them.

Come join us for a great time.  Lots of prizes, a DJ, and as always "Kapo's Gang" of the Mid-Atlantic Clown Association to help make the day a great success.

On February 6, 2009, Katie’s Krusaders will hold a fundraiser at Game On!, a state of the art sports bar and nightclub located at The Pier Shops at Caesars in Atlantic City.  The special night will include a cocktail and hors d’oeurves reception, silent and Chinese auctions and raffles.  There will also be a meet-and-greet with special sports legends, including Broad Street Bully Dave “The Hammer” Schultz.  For more information contact Terry Duffin at ptduffin@verizon.net or Shelly Valenti at svalenti2002@yahoo.com.
